Become a Villages Business Supporter Today

Villages NW invites your business to get involved as a supporter of our innovative new nonprofit organization. Our mission is to enable more Portland metro-area residents to successfully and economically age at home by developing and nurturing a network of sustainable, community-based Villages to assist them.

The kind of Villages we are developing are not brick and mortar PLACES. Instead, they are PLANS to enable aging in community, organized and run by neighborhood residents, who coordinate the volunteer support and reduced-cost professional services needed to make that possible. Villages NW serves as the nonprofit hub for 7 local Villages currently in development, providing them with oversight, coaching, 501(C)(3) tax-exempt status, and financial, administrative, HR and development services.

Our Network of Villages is part of a growing national movement, with 150+ Villages up and running nationwide, and another 150+ in development.

FYI: According to the 2010 census, there were 190,000 people over the age of 65 living in the Portland metro-area. By 2030, there will be almost 400,000. Add to this number all their concerned adult children, and you have a VERY substantial number of people. These individuals are not only our potential Village members, they are also your current or prospective customers.   We have put together what we hope is a very attractive package of business supporter benefits designed to position your company with Village members and volunteers as a true friend to and supporter of the Villages NW Network.

As you no doubt know, older adults are not only the most dependable voters, they are also the most loyal customers. Please review our Villages NW Business Supporter options and benefits and consider becoming a supporter of Villages NW at whatever level works for your company’s philanthropic budget.
