I have always valued a sense of community and service to others and have been very active in a number of nonprofits, as a staff member, board member and as a volunteer. So becoming a “village builder” seems natural to me. Originally from Great Britain, I have traveled the US and Canada extensively, living in many states during my professional career with IBM and others organizations, until I finally settled in Portland in 2010.
